Leisha and Nina, who are two of our bestest, bestest friends ever just sent me these pictures of this new raw restaurant in Hollywood called Lifefood Organic.

They said that this place is amazing, I can’t wait to try it when I get back to LA!!

Let me know if any of you make it there.

I am a little "green" so please forgive me if this question is stupid but, can someone suggest a brand that carries vegan Graham Crackers please????  I want to make the peanut butter cups and I don't want to mess up the receipe. thanks in advance smiley-embarassed.gif

Nabisco Grahams are vegan according to the Peta website!

They looked awesome! maybe shouldn't be served in plastic though?  google "garbage patch" I'm completely turned off plastic! The food looks delicious though!
I went to a website about this place, and someone who's been there commented that all of the containers are biodegradable, so no worries!  It's probably that new stuff that's made from corn and looks exactly like plastic.
If youre ever in Toronto, Ontario Canada you should check out Live food bar!

oh man, that sandwich looks so good!  new restaurant added to my To Go To list.  :)
LifeFood Organic's chef Laurel Anderson will be serving up yummy treats at the Malibu Cook's Tour this Saturday, May 8th. She'll be at one of the four houses featured, another of which is mine! http://www.malibuingenue.com/2010/05/24th-annual-cooks-tour.html

We were visiting from Arizona and stopped by LifeFood Organic with my non-vegan friend and 4 kids between us.  I was expecting a sit down restaurant.  Didn't realize it was deli style with very limited seating.  We picked the lasagna since it seemed the most kid friendly (they made it fresh for us since it was all sold out).  The kids were a bit suprised and none of them ate it.  Including my own daughter who loves everything!  I felt really bad they didn't like their food, so I got the key lime pie in hopes to make it up to them.  No one liked that either.  I on the other hand did like my lasagna, though I'll never eat an entire basil leaf again (I burped basil for the whole next day too).  The graham cracker crust was delicious on the key lime pie!

I do have a photo but don't know how to upload.
