Hi there!  I wanted to share with you a sneak peek of a photo shoot we did for my new book, The Kind Diet.  We went up to Ojai and prepared some of the dishes in the book.  Victoria Pearson, our fantastic photographer, took beautiful pictures of the food!  Everything looked, and tasted, so delicious!  I hope you like the video, and hope you make the recipes and enjoy the deliciousness for yourselves!!!!

That was a lot of fun to watch, I loved seeing the set up for the photos and the range of dishes you had to choose from!

Now I understand why there are soo many cookbooks with out any pictures. In my humble opinion they only enhance the book. I stay away from book with out pics, and books without personal stories because lets face it... the people who compose those types of books don't actually cook the food.

I just got the book and was enamoured with the gorgeous photography! It was great to see the behind-the-scenes shoot of this -- I have a (secret!) food photography fetish, and this was thoroughly fascinating!

I love how involved you are with your whole vegan process.

I never realized how hard it was to and so much worjk to have pix for a cookbook.

This just goes to show that you don't have to be human to look good for a photoshoot. ;)

 

Am I missing something? Where is the video for the behind the scenes photo shoot? Would love to see it!
