Diabetes is prevalent in the Hispanic community and i think this book would be wonderful to share among our Latino brothers and sisters who want a healthier lifestyle!
Also, FYI...in many latin american countries, soy is used in place of meat for economic reasons, so the use of soy is not foreign in these cultures.
TRANSLATE THIS BOOK PRONTO! :)
I can't wait for the mandarin version to be out so that I can share it with my folks!
Alicia,
Any idea when the Mandarin "Kind Life" will be available? I am moving to Shanghai and really want to be able to share the book with the lady who will be doing some cooking for us. Hopefully soon...?
Alicia, I am offering to translate the book in Spanish, did you ever read this message? This is the second time I post about it, I think I even sent you a private message... My mother asked me again about it, I know a bunch of people who would be grateful about this book being available in Spanish.
The Skinny Bitch has already its Spanish version. It is good, but The kind Diet is kinder...
Please answer to me. My offering is not for money.... Thanks,
I agree with NannyD's comment about Kind Diet versus Skinny Bitch. I have been a 'Superhero' for many a year thanks to my own veganism and Jessica Porter (author of Hip Chicks Guide). I have to say Skinny Bitch was insulting to read. I only got through the first chapter. It speaks down to people and berates them like misbehaving children rather than educate them. Kind Diet takes a Genene Roth style approach, by reteaching grown adults kindness, for the environment and ourselves. We deserve to treat ourselfves with kindness and see the beauty in the everyday.
